Croatia - Dubrovnik is a beautiful port city in Dalmatia, located on the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. It has long been a popular destination for vacationers thanks to its impressive monuments, formidable city walls, and its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The city is nestled beneath Mount Srđ and is often referred to as the "Pearl of the Adriatic" due to its beauty. Dubrovnik’s old city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With about 55,000 inhabitants, the population density is around 150 people per square kilometer. The region around Dubrovnik has a typical Mediterranean climate: mild, wet winters and dry, warm summers with plenty of sunshine. The average summer temperature is 25°C (77°F), and the sea temperature is nearly the same, around 21°C (70°F).
