Norway - After breakfast, we drive through light rain to the ferry. Visibility is limited due to the low-hanging clouds, which gives the Moldefjord a mystical atmosphere. The ferry crossing takes thirty-five minutes. On the other side, we continue toward Geiranger. Along the way, the low clouds provide beautiful scenery along the fjords. In Linge, we cross the Norddalsfjord by ferry heading to Eidsdal. From there, we drive to Geiranger. Luckily, the weather gradually clears. As we approach Geiranger, we have a stunning view over the fjord. Unfortunately, there’s no time for a photo stop, and the bus winds its way down the mountain through hairpin turns to Geiranger. We arrive just in time for the ferry. Geiranger (population 300) is a small town at the end of the Geirangerfjord. This fjord is famous for its steep cliffs. Due to its depth, even large cruise ships can dock here. The boat trip passes the Seven Sisters waterfall (De Syv Søstre) and the tall Suitor waterfall (Friaren).
