Denmark - Legoland Billund is the most famous and beloved amusement park in Denmark for families and children of all ages. There is plenty of action, speed, and fun for the whole family. Legoland is built with millions of LEGO bricks. A world of fun and adventure for the entire family. Besides the special buildings, the park also has the King's Castle Dragon roller coaster. Visit the sharks in Atlantis with the submarine or go gold washing in the Wild West. In 1968, the first Legoland park was opened in Billund. This theme park initially consisted of a miniature world, completely built from LEGO bricks. LEGO trains, LEGO cars ran, and many well-known buildings were recreated. The park turned out to be a huge success; in the first year alone, more than half a million visitors came. In the following years, the park grew and is now eight times as large as originally. Later, more LEGO parks were opened, including in Germany, Malaysia, America, and England.
